Based on the historical romance novels of Diana Gabaldon, the Outlander TV series tells the story of Claire Randall, a married WW II nurse, who is accidentally transported back in time to 18th century Scotland. There she meets and falls in love with Jamie Fraser, a Highland warrior. Seemingly trapped with no way to return to her own time, Claire is swept up in the revolutionary political intrigue.
